Terms of Use

The rules for using tokolane.com. If you sell through Tokolane, the Merchant Terms of Service apply as well and take precedence where the two differ.

1. Tokolane is a platform, not a shop

Stores hosted here are operated by independent merchants. When you buy something, your contract is with that merchant — they are the seller, they take your money through their own payment account, and they are responsible for the goods, delivery, refunds and returns.

Tokolane provides the software the store runs on. We do not stock, inspect, or endorse anything sold through it.

2. Buying from a store

The merchant's own terms, delivery policy and returns policy govern your purchase.
Questions about an order go to the merchant — their contact details are in their storefront footer.
Payment is taken by Stripe on the merchant's behalf. Tokolane never holds your money.

Report a store to abuse@tokolane.com. We can suspend a storefront, but we cannot refund you — only the merchant or your card issuer can do that.

3. Using the site

You agree not to:

Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the platform or any store on it.
Scrape, crawl or bulk-download content beyond ordinary browsing.
Interfere with the service or the traffic of any store.
Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with a merchant or with Tokolane.
Use the site in breach of any law that applies to you.

4. Accounts

Merchant accounts are managed through our identity provider. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for anything done under your account. Tell us at security@tokolane.com if you think an account has been compromised.

5. Content on storefronts

Product listings, images and copy are supplied by merchants. If you believe content infringes your rights, follow the process in our Copyright and DMCA policy.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and incidents happen; see our status page.

7. Liability

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the site. Continuing to use tokolane.com after a change means you accept it.
